It's been awhile and now it's outta the way
Who is this man is he another mistake
Do you remember all the reasons that don't matter
Those nights alone with your tears
Ooh the things you'll never know
Don't make a reason to let go again
So you can do what you please for as long as you leave
My girl

Ooh there is a price to pay for love to fill the spaces just enough
It's fair
So if you'd just take the time girl to open your eyes for me

Heroes sounds very different from all of The Midnight's other past works, with much more eloquent writing and complex instrumentals that help to create a much more defined and unique sound. It seems like The Midnight are finally finding their own voice, and I'm happy to be listening as they do. An excellent album to listen to whilst dreaming about what once was, and what someday will be. breadsticat19265
